If you encounter a problem with DropZone™ crashing, chances are it is a memory problem. In order to keep DropZone as unobtrusive as possible, its memory partition has been kept small. DropZone has been designed to operate properly with a memory partition as small as 45K.
However, depending upon the extensions you have installed (some of which steal memory from DropZone's partition), it is possible that you will need to use a larger partition--particularly if you drop many items onto DropZone at one time.
If you encounter such a problem, the simple solution is to slightly increase the size of DropZone's partition.

Standard File Utilities:
If you are using a standard file navigation utility, like SuperBoomerang™ or Directory Assistance II, you may find that the DropZone dialog is disturbed in various ways. These problems can be avoided by disabling the utility within DropZone.
Some utilities provide a direct method to disable it for any given application (like DA II), while others (like SB) can be disabled by decreasing the size of DropZone's partition. (These utilities are among those that steal memory from the DropZone's partition. When memory is sufficiently low, they simply disable themselves.)
Jon Gotow's shareware utility, Default Folder, should work fine with DropZone. James Walker's freeware utilities, Dialog View and Open Wide should also work fine with DropZone.
